Environmental Management and Waste Reduction Assistance

DSM was contracted by the Vermont Small Business Development Center, as part of funds specially appropriated by US Congress, to provide environmental management technical assistance to Vermont's wood products industry and marinas. DSM performed confidential on-site assessments at twenty businesses throughout the State. The assessments included an evaluation of compliance with environmental regulations as well as solid and hazardous waste reduction assistance and toxic use reduction advice. Each business received a confidential report of findings and recommendations for improved environmental management.
